February 28, 2006 I a few sample photos have been added to the Slinging Ink Tattoo Expo gallery as a teaser of much more to come. Be sure to visit us again to see if you are there. I would like to give a special thanks to Wild Bill and Mad Dogs for allowing me to setup the photo shoot on the motorcycles, Wild Bill for the use of his motorcycles, Mad Dags for the lovely calendar girls, and of course, the girls themselves. February 1, 2006 Portell Imagery will be onsite at the Slinging Ink Tattoo Expo in San Antonio, Texas. Be sure to look for Micheal and his lovely assistant Lyn in the Portell Imagery hats and get photographed and put online. Photographs will be available for purchase after the event. January 27, 2006 Portell Imagery has added a new exciting capability to its photographic repertoire, Infrared Photography. Infrared light is invisible to the human eye and is reflected differently by plants, animals, people and other objects. Portell Imagery has purchased a specialized modified digital SLR that can see this spectrum of invisible light. Be sure to check back here for some samples of this unique photography in one of the featured galleries. October 9, 2005 Portell Imagery now does portraits. Portell Imagery Studios is now available. The studio setup includes four studio strobes, light boxes, and various back drops. Feel free to email us if you are interested in general portraits, senior photos, or studio portraits. October 5, 2005 Portell Imagery will have a display on the streets of Depot Town in Ypsilanti Michigan during the summer on the Thursday Cruise nights. The display will include some of Micheal's automotive works as well as select merchandise showing some of his favorite works. Be sure to stop by and visit us. September 27, 2005 Micheal and Portell Imagery will have a selection of his Architecture photography on display at Cafe Luwak in historic Depot Town in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The works will include the Alamo, Spanish missions, bell towers, cathedrals, and some merry go round animals reminiscent of says gone by. The display will run during the month of October.
